A Sacred Potli for the Protection of Your Home
As we begin Kartik Sadhana, prepare a sacred potli using some of nature’s purest ingredients:
🌿 Jatamansi
🌿 Nagarmotha
🌿 Sonth
🌿 Vach
And KootUse whole, unpowdered ingredients. Tie them in a natural jute or cotton potli and hang it outside your main entrance.
Once a month, place the potli in sunlight to recharge it.
As my Guru beautifully says, the Sun is Shiva Himself. Bhagwan Surya Narayan is the eternal giver of light, life and positive energy.
In our tradition, this sacred practice is performed during Kartik with a prayer for divine protection over our homes, families and children throughout the year.
You may also chant the sacred mantra of Bhagwan Surya Narayan.
These traditional remedies carry the wisdom passed down by our ancient Rishis, the seers of sacred mantras.
