Online Vastu Consultation: Which of the Three Plans Do You Need?

Insta Vastu online consultation plans by Dr. Jayshree Om - Vastu Report Rs 2,999, Astro Vastu Rs 4,999 and Vastu Design for New Homes Rs 9,999

One question decides which Vastu plan you need, and it is not a complicated one.

Is the house already built?

If it is, you need a report on what exists — what is working, what isn't, and what to do about it. If it isn't, you need the opposite: a layout designed correctly from the start, before an architect finalises anything.

Those are genuinely different pieces of work, which is why Insta Vastu has three plans rather than one.

Not sure which one fits your home? Message us on WhatsApp and we will tell you which one you need — before you order, with no obligation.

Plan 1 — Vastu Report

The standard choice for a home that already exists: a flat, a villa, a house you have lived in for years, or one you are about to buy.

You get a room-by-room analysis across all sixteen zones, a clear statement of the Vastu doshas in your particular layout, curated solutions matched to your home, and a marked plan showing exactly where each remedy goes.

That last part matters more than it sounds. A list of remedies leaves you guessing about placement. A plan with the positions marked on it does not.

The report also includes bed-head and seating directions for each room, and practical corrections — things you can change by moving furniture or clearing a corner, before buying anything at all.

Plan 2 — Astro Vastu

Everything in Plan 1, with your birth chart laid over it.

Vastu tells you what a space is doing. Astrology tells you what a person is going through. Read together, they answer a question a Vastu report alone cannot: of all the things that could be improved in this home, which ones matter most for you, right now?

A home might have four zones worth attention. Your current planetary period will usually point at one of them. The report tells you where to start, which gemstones and zone energisers suit your dasha, and which directions matter most for you personally.

For this one you will need an accurate date, place and time of birth — from a birth certificate if you have it, since the chart shifts with the hour.

Plan 3 — Vastu Design for New Homes

This one is different in kind. It is not remedies on someone else's plan; it is a Vastu-compliant layout designed from the plot upward.

You receive a zone map for each floor, a written zone-wise brief covering the entrance, every room, the staircase, water and septic placement and bed-head directions — and a Marma and Pada check.

That check is the reason this plan exists. Every plot has thirty-two pada devatas around its boundary and marma points where the energy lines cross. In a new design these are worked out first, so the main door lands on the right pada and no wall, pillar, staircase, lift or toilet sits on a marma point.

It cannot be done afterwards. Once walls are up, a marma point under a pillar stays under that pillar. This is why Plans 1 and 2 don't include it — not an omission, but a thing that is only possible while the layout is still on paper.

Plan 3 covers a single floor or ground plus one. Order before your architect finalises the plan and before the foundation is laid.

What to send

Having this ready before you order saves a day or two of back and forth.

For Plan 1 and Plan 2 (existing homes):

  1. Your floor plan — a clear photo or PDF
  2. North marked on the plan, checked with your phone compass
  3. What each room is used for
  4. Your main entrance direction
  5. Plan 2 only: date, place and time of birth

For Plan 3 (new plots):

  1. Plot dimensions, with a sketch or sale plan
  2. A Google Maps pin dropped while standing in the middle of the plot
  3. North marked using your phone compass
  4. Which side faces the road, plus photos of the plot
  5. Number of floors and the rooms you need

Order on the website, then send everything on WhatsApp to 9845001138.

How to mark North correctly

This is where most plans arrive wrong, and a wrong North makes every other reading wrong with it.

Open the compass app on your phone. Stand in the middle of the home or plot, not at a window or in a doorway. Keep away from steel almirahs, the fridge, electrical panels and reinforced concrete pillars, all of which pull a compass off true.

Turn until the needle reads 0°. That direction is North. Draw an arrow on your floor plan pointing that way, and note the degree reading of your main door while you are at it.

One thing worth knowing: the sun does not always rise due east. Its rising point shifts through the year, so a house oriented by eye can easily be several degrees out. Use the compass, not the sunrise. There is more on this in Is a South-Facing House Unlucky?

What these reports don't do

Worth being plain about, so nobody orders the wrong thing.

They don't ask you to demolish anything. The remedies are placements and corrections, not construction work.

Plan 3 is not architectural drawings. You receive Vastu-compliant zone maps and a written brief. Your own architect turns them into construction drawings, and we don't speak with architects directly — you share the report with them.

Remedies are sold separately. The report tells you which ones suit your home and marks where they go; the items themselves are on vedicvastuliving.com.

Plan 3 is submitted as final, without revisions. After delivery you may ask three to four questions on WhatsApp, by text.

After the report arrives

Each report marks its remedies on your own plan, with a legend and a compass. Traditional guidance is to install them on a Tuesday or Friday.

Most reports recommend a familiar core: a Vastu Devta Yantra for the pooja room, an Annapurna Yantra for the kitchen, and a copper Astamangal outside the main door — then whatever else your particular layout calls for.

Start with the practical corrections, which cost nothing. Then work down the remedy list in the order of priority given.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to visit, or does a consultant visit my home?

No. Everything is done from your floor plan and compass reading, and the report reaches you on WhatsApp.

Which plan should I choose if I'm buying a resale flat?

Plan 1 or Plan 2 — the home already exists. Many buyers order a report before finalising the purchase, which is a sensible use of ₹2,999.

My plot is for a three-storey building. Can I order Plan 3?

Plan 3 covers a single floor or ground plus one. For anything larger, message 9845001138 first.

Can I upgrade from Plan 1 to Plan 2 later?

Ask on WhatsApp. It is easier to decide at the outset, since Plan 2 builds the astrological layer into the analysis rather than adding it afterwards.

Is my floor plan enough, or do you need a sale deed?

A clear floor plan with North marked is enough. No sale deed is required.

What if I don't know my exact birth time?

An approximate time can be worked with, but the closer to exact the better — a birth certificate is ideal. If the time is entirely unknown, Plan 1 is the better choice.
